Support For Young People
Our mentoring service is dedicated to helping young people explore and manage significant emotions, fostering resilience and self-esteem while nurturing healthy relationships. We work together with children aged 7 to 16 and their caregivers to pave the way for a brighter future.

Mentoring
Upon referral, we meticulously match each child with one of our mentors based on their personality and interests. Through regular meetings, children participate in educational sessions, engaging activities, social events, and games. Throughout this journey, our mentors assist children in identifying their strengths and support them in setting and achieving meaningful goals.

How to Refer a Child
A child can be referred to Milestone Mentoring by:
A family member
Their school
Their social worker

All referrals will need the consent of the child’s parent/carer.

*The age ranges listed are a guide rather than definitive and all applicants are assessed on the basis of whether collectively we feel we are able to add value and work towards achieving a positive outcome for the young person concerned.
Initial Assessment
We will undertake an initial assessment to learn more about the child, their strengths and their needs. If we determine that our services are a suitable match for the child and their family, we proceed by developing an educational and social plan tailored to their specific needs. This plan forms the foundation of our support, guiding our efforts to empower the young person and their family on their journey toward growth and success.
